Sigh

Cecilie and Andreas are sleeping, Signe is on her (delayed) way here, and my mum's clamouring on the phone... It's my Grandmum's birthday today, and everything is going it's usual merry way... wheee :P.
Next week I'm off to Germany for five days, just me my dad and my siblings, I wasn't going to go, as Cecilie and Andreas were supposed to come, but Cecilie said I should bloody well go, and buy her the skinlotion she likes so well. yeah.

The sun is moving fast

Listening to System's new CD, hypnotize... aaaah, bliss.
Rolf is coming by today, I asked him to help out with some movement of furniture... and... well, gaming :P.
University is actually starting to be fun.
Soon, our baby is going to be born, technically my first-born... My gods.
I am actually looking forward to christmas this year, Andreas is going to be so happy...
Two years ago I had a semi-serious depression on and around christmas, last year wasn't too bad, I was a bit afraid it would happen again though. Luckily it did not, and this year.... there is nothing to be sad about. Apart from the Angst inherent in all human beings of course.

Normality

We live almost right next to a home for autistic people. Every morning they'll come shuffling by, moaning and laughing, mumbling incoherently.
A blessing.
Gives me a much-needed dose of sanity every time I see them.

"Normal" people are slaves to social dogma, having spent their entire lives building up such exquisite filters for what is accceptable, that they have in effect walled themselves in, acknowledging only what is deemed appropriate. Boring, grey, dead.

I've been quite busy lately. Alas, I've been busy doing everything I should not, avoiding what I must (reeeeaaaad). But I have read some none the less. Here you see a typical example of my... notetaking. colours indicate... colourfulness. POI of course, my wife just pointed out to me what pretty patterns I was making in my books. Ah yes, the arduous life of science and discovery :P

Halloween

Autumn is closing in, and what better way to celebrate than having an intimate dinner party with a few friends, all dressed up in costumes, and getting so drunk you can't remember your own name?

We're getting our new bed today! yay. The old one is 120 cm. wide, the new one is going to be 180! Oooooooooh yeah. This has been an announcement by the board of telling trivial boring stuff to the public. Because we care.

Ack, so much i haven't read, or even laid eyes on! I'm about 150 pagesout of sync. Not that this has hindered me so far, but it most probably will at some point, so I'd better start trucking.

Andreas behaved very badly on the way home, so he's not allowed any TV today. The good thing about punishing him is that his one-hour a day TV privileges, and candy, are both bad for him anyway, so taking them away does him good in the long run. As does learning boundaries of course, but the end result is less bad concience for his parents ;)
