Recap

Lots of stuff's been happening. I got my students cap for one. My average is 8.8, 0.1 point off, need 8.9 for European Ethnology... hope I get in. If not, there are many other interesting studies :) I've started at the commune, rather OK, sit at the internet all day, jobsearching. I have an interview friday, I'm selling my soul... to telemarketing! NooOOOoooOOOoooOOO!
And last but not least... We went to the hospital today to get a scan of the baby!!! My gods... It was moving about in there, swimming around, and finally found a cozy position and fell asleep... It's... indescribable. Life is wonderful.

Tuesday 14 June 2005

Today has been a good day.

To put it quite simply. Hanne got her "students cap" today, we drank a lot of beer, Nicolai and Anja were there too... and we went grilling with Cecilie. Just on a whim. Not an earth shattering event, but... well, when your life is as predictable as it is when awaiting a child, (in the most boring sense imaginable) this is rather a big deal. Not that I don't love my life, because I really do, but once in a while a break is necessary. I got mine today, got to hang out and relax with my friends... all is well. Also I got a 10 in written danish, rather nice, means whatever I do tommorow in Psychology won't matter overly much, I'll still get into university. w00t.

Or it might get the same colour as your bloody hair. Hoho, a pun.

Don't pick your nose.

Sunday 5 June 2005

My first night on the couch.

Quite voluntarily, I might add. She's not what you'd call a heavy sleeper, and wakes up once again in the night, and can't fall asleep with me in the bed. It's not that I snore, of course. :P
Had a quite good time this evening, we were at Cecilie's mums. Usually not really my cup of tea, Cecilies siblings are nice enough, just don't really have all that much to talk with them about. Not that I babbled on this time, but everything was more relaxed. Quite nice.
Also, I had a drunken adventure last week, I hijacked Rob, and took him to Postpubben, the local pub (obviously), for what should have just been a pint or two, just to take my mind off things... But, alas, that was not how it went. I'll write more about that particular incident when... well, tommorow I imagine. When I've figured out why all those people bought us all that beer...?

Tommorow... Have to call the bank, because for some idiotic reason only known to the state, you don't get your unemployment money until the last in the month... So, have to get a loan, (update it that is), and find some work asap... grrrrr... we used to have welfare in this country. Not that I don't want to find work, I'm just completely penniless atm. Argh. maybe I'll take up pirating... now, to find me a ship.

Saturday 4 June 2005

Chronologically challenged.

It's 1 o'clock at night. Not in itself a very startling statement you might inject, but I thought it was like 4 in the morning. Because of the thunder. I fucking love thunder. As to why... Dunno, I just feel more alive when it's thundering. And time flies when you're having fun, ie. feeling alive, feeling the blood pounding, the electricity in the air...
One of my fondest memories is from last year, I had just (unofficially, shhh) moved in with Cecilie. It was late summer, and it started storming outside. I mean really tempest...ing. So, naturally, I went outside to get a little closer to the elements. Lo and behold, Cecilie followed me! That was one of the defining moments of our relationship for me, this was pretty much when I became irrevocably entranced with her. We went inside, our clothes were all wet... (oh really!?) So, we took them off and... ahaha, I know what you were thinking you naughty thing, but no, we ran outside again. And stood in the rain, au naturel, kissing. It was beautiful.

Thursday 2 June 2005

Yeah. Hey, I might as well promote myself :P I thought about printing this os stickers, and putting it up around town... As a kind of weirdass social experiment. would be kind of fun to see how many people would visit. On the other hand I quite like the fact that this place is so obscure...
